This is the third LG washer we have had. The other two were purchased in the USA and are still working 12 and 8 years after purchase. This new giant combo is in nearly daily use and can do massive amounts of laundry. You don't have to lift the wet clothes out of one machine and put them in the other machine which is great as you get older. We built a pedestal for the machine so that you don't have to bend over nearly to the floor. We use a keep open attachment to help keep gasket mold in check. The connectivity to the internet of things is nice but we don't have real need for this feature. The make your own cycle feature is part of the IOT connection and that part can be helpful. The many cycles available make the need for a custom cycle almost unnecessary. This is a great machine. Be careful to make sure that there is the required space around the machine as it generates a lot of heat. Be sure to have plenty of space above the machine for heat to escape. Remember you will only need a cold water supply, drain and power for the machine. No air vent is required.
